Marymount University’s PlaceMakr Ballston is a 15 story, 276-unit, 250,000 square foot, LEED Gold certified, mixed-use building with residential/hospitality located in (Ballston) Arlington, VA. This unique building holds a mix of student housing, as well as hotel units operated by PlaceMakr. The building also houses a Northwest Federal Credit Union branch on the Ground Floor. Kodiak was selected by Marymount University in 2022 to take on the role of Asset Manager, providing guidance to the Landlord and PlaceMakr alongside Marymount’s Ballston Center located next door at 1000 N. Glebe Rd., where Kodiak serves the role of Property Manager.
Public and Alternative Transportation Options
1008 N. Glebe Rd. is located in close proximity to the Ballston Metro Station which serves both the Orange and Silver lines. The station exit is conveniently located close by on N. Fairfax Drive and N Stuart St.
The neighborhood that 1008 N. Glebe Rd. is located in is also served by a number of Metrobus and Arlington Transit Bus (ART) bus routes. The following routes are available at Ballston Metro Station: 1ABEZ, 2A, 10B, 22AB, 23ABT, 25ACDE, 25B, and 38B. Arlington Transit Bus routes are available: 41, 42, 51, 52, 53, 62, and 75.
